Help shape the future of driver and vehicle licensing services in the NWT.
Have Your Say
The Government of the Northwest Territories (GNWT) wants to hear from residents across the NWT about their experiences with driver and vehicle licensing services.
The Driver and Vehicle Licensing Program (DVLP) helps keep our roads safe and supports community mobility by making sure drivers are licensed, vehicles are registered, and residents can access government-issued photo ID.
Whether you’ve renewed your license, booked a road test, registered a vehicle, or accessed services online or in person, your feedback matters.
GNWT has launched a public survey as part of a review of the DVLP. This is your opportunity to share what’s working, what’s not, and how services could be improved.
Topics include:
Getting or renewing a driver’s license
Booking and taking driving tests
Transferring a license from another province or territory
Registering, renewing, or transferring vehicle ownership
Accessing government-issued photo ID
Commercial vehicle client services
Experiences with in-person, mobile, or online services
The survey is being conducted by Prairie Research Associates (PRA), an independent research firm. PRA will collect and analyze responses and provide recommendations to GNWT. All responses are confidential.
Your input will help shape a licensing system that is efficient and responsive to NWT needs.
