Every five years, the Government of the Northwest Territories (GNWT) hires a third-party to evaluate its progress of the Strategic Plan on French Language Communications and Services. The next engagement and evaluation is taking place in September 2022 and your feedback is important.
The GNWT’s first Strategic Plan was created in 2013 to guide government institutions in the development, offer and provision of French language services and communications to the Francophone community.
In 2017-18, the GNWT undertook an evaluation and audit of the 2013-2018 Strategic Plan. Recommendations from the resulting reports were incorporated into the 2018-2023 Plan. Significant progress has been made but there is still more to be done.
Input from the upcoming engagement sessions will help shape the next iteration of the GNWT’s Strategic Plan.
