The Government of the Northwest Territories (GNWT) invited residents to provide feedback on the replacement of the Jean Marie River bridge, located on Highway 1 at approximately 65 km south of Fort Simpson. The bridge is approaching the end of its cycle life; replacement is required to ensure the safety of road users.
