Overview

The Mining and Exploration Awards are about celebrating excellence in mining and exploration in the NWT.

The annual awards gala is held in each November as part of the Yellowknife Geoscience Forum, and co-sponsored by the Government of the Northwest Territories and NWT and Nunavut Chamber of Mines.

There are five award categories:

• Indigenous Achievement
• Distinguished Service
• Environmental and Social Responsibility
• Special Achievement
• Economic Leadership
