Recent changes to this law make any conditions specified by the Office of the Fire Marshal (OFM) in a plan review report legally enforceable as orders.
The proposed Plan Review Appeals Board Regulations will govern the process to appeal plan review orders issued by the Office of the Fire Marshal.
Once the engagement has closed, the feedback received will be reviewed, summarized, and published here in a What We Heard Report. This feedback will also be considered before the final publication of the Plan Review Appeals Board Regulations and the amended Fire Prevention Regulations.
A public service announcement will be released by the GNWT when the proposed regulations come into force.
