Residents were asked to provide feedback on the effectiveness of the health care system in meeting the needs of patients in the Northwest Territories (NWT). .
Results
Patient feedback from all regions and from those accessing a variety of services helps us build a stronger understanding of what people think of different types of healthcare services in different facilities, identifying those areas where we need to focus on improvement.
The input will help the GNWT meet its mandate for supporting the health and well-being of residents – by strengthening peer support and increasing the number and variety of culturally-respectful, community based mental wellness and addictions recovery programs, including aftercare.
