Collège Nordique Francophone is applying to deliver a Management and Leadership Certificate program within the Northwest Territories, with a proposed effective date of January 2026.
The Management and Leadership Certificate program is targeted at individuals who hold a management position within an organization or aspire to do so. Students will have the opportunity to learn about fundamental management concepts and advanced management techniques while exploring their identity as leaders and their management and leadership style. The program will also allow students to better understand the challenges, opportunities and realities of a Northern job market.

In December 2022, the NWT’s first-ever Post-Secondary Education Act and Regulations came into effect. When post-secondary education institutions want to provide a new post-secondary education program in the NWT, they complete a System Coordination Review Application. The application is publicly posted by the GNWT for 15 business days to allow the public and NWT post-secondary education institutions to provide feedback that will be considered in the review process.
The System Coordination Review Application from Collège Nordique Francophone can be viewed here.
Anyone seeking further information on the submission should contact the institution directly.
Next Steps
The Quality Assurance Review Advisory Committee will review the application along with any public input and make a recommendation to the Minister of Education, Culture and Employment as to whether the application may proceed.
All post-secondary institution applications and decisions on the applications (granted/not granted) are listed on the ECE website here.
