The Government of the Northwest Territories (GNWT) invites all NWT residents to participate in the mental wellness and addictions recovery survey between January 25 and April 25, 2024.
The GNWT will use the survey to better understand public awareness, accessibility, and satisfaction with mental wellness and addictions recovery services and supports.
Feedback received will contribute to improving the services residents, their loved ones, or their community already use or may need to access in the future. These services include the Community Counselling Program (including Child and Youth Counsellors), Helplines and Kids Help Phone, e-Mental health apps/websites, Facility-based Addictions Treatment, community-based supports, and more.
Feedback on both positive and negative experiences, as well as identifying areas in need of improvement, is crucial for enhancing mental wellness and addictions recovery support across the NWT. Understanding any barriers residents may have faced when trying to use services will help the GNWT make them more accessible to everyone.
The results of this survey will be summarized in a What We Heard report.
