Seniors are a valued member of our communities. The Government of the Northwest Territories is conducting in-person engagement sessions to better understand the needs of residents as they get older to help identify and address gaps in services for seniors living in the NWT.
Engagement activities to inform the NWT Seniors Strategy began in May 2022 and concluded in October 2022. These engagement activities included an online survey and virtual and in-person engagement sessions with NWT seniors, older adults (55+), and their family and caregivers, as well as Indigenous Governments, Community Governments, and organizations serving seniors.
