The Government of the Northwest Territories (GNWT) is undertaking a review of its internal operational management of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The purpose of the review is to gather information to improve preparedness for future public health emergencies. This work will assist in developing proposed amendments to existing Northwest Territories’ laws and in managing responses to public health emergencies in the future.

This work will include engagement with the public, leadership from Indigenous governments and community governments, Members of the Legislative Assembly, Members of the NWT Executive Council, and senior officials with the GNWT.
As part of the engagement process, NWT residents are invited to participate in an online survey.
Please provide your feedback by August 15, 2022.

The review is expected to be completed by Fall 2022. It will be shared with our targeted partners prior to release. A summary of key findings and recommendations will also be released to the public.
